I’ll be honest, I don’t remember every little detail about the place, but I do remember that the hours worked really well for me. That’s usually the kind of thing that sticks in my mind, and it made the whole experience a lot easier

"Cleanliness could definitely be better"
I’m sure other customers would notice this too, but the locker room had a bad smell and some of the machines looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It just made the whole visit feel a little uncomfortable

"Barely Had to Wait"

"Kinda Disappointing"
so I tried it after my workout and barely felt any warmth at all. I was expecting it to feel a lot more soothing, so it was kind of disappointing.

"Solid gym for the price!"
Pretty good gym overall, especially for what it costs. I like that they have a bunch of different machines--legs, back, all that--so I’m not stuck doing the exact same routine every time. It does get packed after work, and yeah, some equipment is usually taken... but I can almost always find something else to jump on. Only thing I’d really change is adding a few more free weights.

"Solid gym experience with reliable equipment"
I’ve been going to Planet Fitness for a few months now, one of the things I appreciate the most is that the equipment is pretty much always in good working shape. I’ve been to gyms before where it feels like half the machines have a sign taped to them, but that really hasn’t been my experience here. Every once in a while I might notice something out of order, but it never seems to stay that way for long, which is a big deal when you’re just trying to get your workout done without rearranging your whole routine. It just makes the whole gym experience a lot less frustrating and way easier to stick with

"Good, Fair Gym Experience"
The staff does a good job keeping things in order, like reminding people to wipe down machines and not take up equipment forever. Every now and then they miss someone sitting on their phone too long, but overall it feels fair and easy to use. It’s a simple, useful gym that gets the job done.

"I feel comfortable going late"
I usually stop by Planet Fitness after work, and sometimes it’s late, but I’ve always felt safe there. The staff at the front desk seems aware of what’s going on, check-in feels secure, and the doors don’t make me worry. The locker room has been clean whenever I’ve gone, and the lockers actually work, which is always a plus. I haven’t had any issues with my stuff or my car, so it’s nice to just get my workout in and head home without stressing about it.

"I’ll say this, the whole…"
I’ll say this — the whole no-judgment vibe does make it feel a lot less awkward to walk in, especially if you’re not trying to be around super intense gym energy. The staff have usually been chill too, which helps. That said, my gut feeling is it could be managed a little better. It gets crowded at certain times, and some machines seem to stay out of order longer than they should. Overall, it’s a decent gym and I don’t mind going, but I wouldn’t call it amazing.

"Really solid help from the trainer"
I got personal training support and it was genuinely helpful. The trainer took the time to explain things clearly and didn’t make me feel rushed or judged, which I really appreciated. that’s the way it should be, if someone is there to help, they should actually care about doing it right.

"Most of the staff at Planet…"
Most of the staff at Planet Fitness are friendly and usually greet you when you come in, which I do appreciate. But there have been a few times when I needed help with a machine or had a quick question and couldn’t find anyone around. It’s not a terrible experience overall, but it does feel inconsistent. Since I’m paying for the membership, I’d expect better support when I need it, and some kind of credit or compensation for the times the service falls short would feel fair.

"Black Card is fine, but follow-up is lacking"
The Black Card membership is okay overall. I mainly use it for the massage chairs and the bring-a-friend perk, which is definitely nice to have. Some of the extras are good too, but half the time the tanning beds are booked or the machines I want are already busy. I’ve also asked about a couple things before and never really got any follow-up, which is annoying. It’s not a bad deal, but it could be a lot better

"Convenient Spot for Me"
I mostly like this Planet Fitness because the location just works good for me. It’s close to my work and also not too far from where I live, so I can kind of stop by without needing to make it a whole big plan. Parking has been easy too, which is a big help. After a long day, that makes it way more likely I’ll actually go.

"Canceling was easier than I expected"
I was kind of expecting canceling to be annoying, but it went smoothly. The staff helped right away and I don’t think there was any weird pressure to stay or anything. Sure it only took a few minutes

"Locker room was really disappointing"
I stopped in after work and the locker room was gross. There was hair all over the floor, the sinks were dirty, and the showers looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. I didn’t even feel comfortable changing in there. The staff I spoke to were nice enough, but no one really made it clear what the next step was or if anything was going to be done about it. Cleanliness is a big deal for me, so this was really disappointing.

"The gym itself is okay, but…"
The gym itself is okay, but the customer service has been frustrating. I reached out a few times about a billing issue and only got very basic replies days later. I had to keep explaining the same thing over and over, which made me wonder how much they really have things together. Not the worst experience, but it definitely makes me question the overall quality

The gym itself has been fine for what I need, so I don’t really have complaints there. I just wish I had thought more about the parking situation before signing up. Some days I get lucky and find a spot right away, but other times I’m driving around for 10 minutes, especially in the evenings. It’s not bad enough to make me quit, but I do find myself regretting it a little on the days when getting there feels like more of a hassle than the workout.

Ran a quick scan and, shockingly, nothing exploded and no issues showed up. It just did what it was supposed to do, which is apparently rare enough these days to feel worth mentioning.
